7 Night Sri Lank Yoga Retreat from Saturday 7th - 14th March 2020 with Naomi Hayama
We've teamed up with Bluerise Retreats once again to bring you this wonderful 7 night yoga retreat in Sri Lanka. This is an all inclusive yoga retreat taught by Bristol Yoga Centre owner, Naomi Hayama and promises to be a lovely combination of excellent yoga, lots of sunshine, beautiful beaches, sea turtles and incredible Sri Lankan cuisines. Unlike many other retreats, the group will be kept to a small size so that you can receive more personal attention and learn yoga in an intimate setting.
Relax in paradise in an incredibly beautiful beach house on the South coast of Sri Lanka. Located near a sea turtle hatchery, which we will visit during the retreat, the property is right on the sea front with a reef protected beach outside that offers a fascinating world for those wishing to explore the rock pools for tropical fish, crabs and shells. A short stroll to the left takes you to a protected swimming lagoon and a five-minute tuk-tuk ride in the other direction finds you at the main Thalpe Beach.
For those wanting to explore, there is plenty to discover. You can hire a bike and cycle through the local paddy fields and rainforest, visiting temples and tea plantations along the way. There are boat trips on nearby Koggala Lake where you can visit small islands and secret coves. And the UNESCO World Heritage site of Galle Fort is only a twenty minutes tuk- tuk ride away. Losing yourself in the Fort’s labyrinth of old streets is a wonderful way to spend a day. For the more adventurous, there is whale watching, surfing and scuba diving all in close proximity.
This yoga retreat has plenty of free time for you to relax on stunning beaches, explore the oceans and rainforests of Sri Lanka, see exotic wildlife and experience rich Asian culture and the warmth of the Sri Lankan people.
This retreat includes:
7 nights accommodation in a beautifully restored beach house
Delicious, healthy and fresh local cuisine. Breakfast, snacks and dinners
Picnics prepared by our wonderful chef for those wishing to spend the day exploring.
A full week of yoga classes
A trip to a nearby turtle sanctuary

The property consists of 2 main wings. The first has 3 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms, elegant four-poster beds and either pool or panoramic ocean views. In the second wing there is a further double bedroom, a bedroom with two double bunk beds, and a large shared bathroom featuring a freestanding bath.

The quality of the food on our retreats is very important to us. You will enjoy delicious, healthy meals lovingly prepared with fresh local ingredients by our wonderful chef, Lionel, to complement the retreat perfectly. "It was fantastic to have so much time to explore different yoga practice which normally there would not be time for. It was great to be able to practice outside. The whole retreat was very enjoyable" - Danny from 2018 retreat
