New Students

New students are welcome to all my classes. Don’t worry if you’ve never practiced yoga before as everyone was once a beginner and there are always new pupils joining.

If your nervous about starting and would like to speak to me, please feel free to get in touch. If you’re not comfortable to begin in a group class or have personal requirements, you may like to consider having a private lesson instead. Please follow this link.

Before the class

Please try and avoid eating prior to the class.

Medical issues & recent injuries

If you have a recent medical issues or injuries, please let me know. Some problems are best addressed in a private lesson. You can always decide to join group classes once you feel confident and ready.

Pregnancy

It's advisable to attend specialist pregnancy classes during this special time. At the moment, I don't teach any pregancy classes but there are many wonderful pregnancy classes available in Bristol.

Frequently Asked Question

Q: What to wear to the class?

A: Please wear clothes that enable you to freely move in. Leggings/T-shirt etc are ideal. It’s best to practice bare foot so you don’t need to worry about wearing specific type of shoes.

Q: What shall I bring with me?

A: You don’t need to bring anything with you as yoga mats are provided in the class. However, you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you like.

Q: How often shall I practice?

A. Start with practicing on a weekly basis and slowly increase the amount over time. More you practice, more benefit you will gain.

Q: What style of yoga do you teach?

A: I have explored different styles of yoga including, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Kundalini, Viniyoga and Sivananda and I use all of these influences in my teachings.
