New students are welcome to all my classes. Don’t worry if you’ve never practiced yoga before as everyone was once a beginner and there are always new pupils joining.
If you would like to speak to me about any issue around starting then please feel free to get in touch. If you’re not comfortable to begin in a group class or have personal requirements, you may like to consider having a private lesson instead.
Before the class
Please try and avoid eating prior to the class.
Medical issues & recent injuries
If you have a recent medical issues or injuries, please let me know. Some problems are best addressed in a private lesson. You can always decide to join group classes once you feel confident and ready.
It's advisable to attend pregnancy yoga classes during this time. Unfortunately, I don't teach any pregnancy classes at the moment but there are many wonderful pregnancy classes available in Bristol. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to receive some advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What shall I wear to class?
A: Please wear clothes that enable you to freely move in. Leggings/T-shirt etc are ideal. It’s best to practice bare foot so you don’t need to worry about wearing specific type of shoes.
Q: What shall I bring with me?
A: You don’t need to bring anything with you as yoga mats are provided in the class. However, you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you like.
Q: How often shall I practice?
A. Start with practicing on a weekly basis and slowly increase the amount over time. The more you practice, the more benefit you will gain.
Q: What style of yoga do you teach?
A: I have explored different styles of yoga including, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Kundalini, Viniyoga and Sivananda and I use all of these influences in my teachings.
